First Baptist Church of La Plata

     If you don't work, are at home during the day, and would like to be involved in one of the most rewarding ministries of the church, this is for you. Ladies Morning Out meets on the second Thursday of each month at 9:00AM at the International House of Pancakes (IHOP) in La Plata. After breakfast and a time of fellowship with one another, we divide into pairs and visit shut-ins in the community and the Nursing Home. We visit those who have given so much of themselves to the church in the past, but are no longer able to get out on their own. Hopefully our visits serve as a source of encouragement to them. Most of the time, however, we are the ones who receive the encouragement.

     Please bring a piece of fruit or a small baked item or snack cakes (Little Debbie) to take on your visit and meet us for Ladies Morning Out. The blessings are too great to pass up!
