Upward Mission Statement

We are happy to announce the schedule for our first Upward Soccer season.  By working with the Upward program, we want to help children in La Plata and Charles County learn soccer in a setting that defines winning as learning lessons in the game of life, with an emphasis on having fun and good sportsmanship.  To learn more about the Upward program, please visit www.upward.org/parents. 

How do I sign up?

 

Bring or Mail the registration form and fee to:

 

First Baptist Church of La Plata

9070 W. Hawthorne Rd

La Plata, MD  20646

 

The forms and registration may be dropped off at the church office Monday - Friday, from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.

Evaluations & Sign Up:

 

Everyone must attend one soccer evaluation.

 

They will take place at the First Baptist Church of La Plata as follows:

 

4 year olds - 8th grade Boys/Girls

Saturday March 15  & Saturday March 22

 

Times:

Between 9:00 am  - 2:00 pm

Registration Information

 

The early registration cost per child for soccer is $60. 

 

After March 15, add $10 ($70 total)

 

Deadline for registration is March 22.

 

Soccer shorts are optional at a cost of  $11.

League Schedule

Practices begin the week of Monday, April 7, 2008.

 

First Game - Saturday, April 19, 2008.

 

Awards Celebration - Saturday, June 14, 2008.
