Bible Skills Competition 4th - 6th Grade
Here our 4th through 6th Grade children are getting final instructions prior to the competition.
The children have learned all 66 books of the Bible in order, 25 verses (try your luck at memorizing Malachi 3:10 or Matthew 28:19-20 from the King James Version), and ten key passages. In ten seconds they must recall this knowledge in front of the congregation! Here they are searching for one of those books, or the key passage. They are not allowed to use the Bible in the verse memorization.
After the competition all of the children receive an award and let out a deep sigh of relief. They now have two weeks to prepare for the Potomac Baptist Association’s competition. For now, the smiles are huge as they wrap up this portion of the competition.
Please pray for the children as they refine their knowledge; pray for the teachers and parents as they prepare the children.
