Re-opening Plans for First Baptist Church of La Plata

First Baptist Church of La Plata

For 8:30am and 11:00am worship services:

Please put on a face mask before entering the church
Enter the church from the parking lot doors on the right
Once inside, proceed to the first set of sanctuary doors by the piano
Every other pew will be taped off, but you may sit in any un-taped pew
Families may sit together but should practice social distancing between other families sitting in the same pew
Please do not touch the hymnals or pew Bibles.

There will be no offering, but offering plates will be placed by the exit doors for your convenience.

There will also be no children's church or nursery accommodations.

When church is over, please exit the sanctuary by the second set of sanctuary doors near the church office.

Please refrain from handshakes and hugs.

11:00 am Service Broadcast:
We will continue to broadcast the 11:00 am service on Facebook Live.

We will also broadcast the 11:00 am service on 88.1 FM for those who want to come to church but are not yet comfortable entering the building.

Sunday School:
Sunday School classes will not meet in person for now but will continue to meet via Zoom.

Sunday Evening Services:
Sunday night services and activities are suspended until further notice.

Wednesday Evening Prayer Service:
Wednesday night prayer meeting will meet in person using the same guidelines as Sunday morning services above.

All other regular Wednesday activities are suspended until further notice.
