Hello, this is pastor gary from first baptist church of laplata. “Take me out to the ball game, Take me out with the crowd, Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jill?” The iconic 129-year old Cracker Jack caramel popcorn snack is still available, but a female version has been introduced to celebrate women in sports. Women playing sports is fine with me, as long as the women are actually women–not men claiming to be women. The weird part about feminizing Cracker Jack, is that Cracker Jack is not a person—a Cracker Jack is someone or something excellent which means a Cracker Jack can be male or female. The boy on the Cracker Jack packaging is named “Sailor Jack”–not “Cracker Jack.” The sailor motif was chosen to honor US servicemen—not men in sports. Cracker Jill is not a singular character but is represented by five females of different ethnicities. In order to buy the Cracker Jill snack, you must make an extra $5 donation to the Women’s Sports Foundation. So much for gender and pay equality! Binary genderism goes all the way back to Genesis chapter 1:27-28 where God creates male and female and gives them the command, “…be fruitful and multiply.” God’s command can only be obeyed by a biological male and a biological female. Jesus affirms the Genesis account in Matthew 19:4 where He says, “…He which made them in the beginning made them male and female.” All of creation operates and reproduces on this binary gender foundation—including humans; the only difference is that humans want to confuse and contradict what God has already created to be “very good.”
