Hello, this is pastor gary from first baptist church of laplata. By now you have heard that the US Supreme Court has effectively overturned Roe v. Wade. Roe v. Wade was the highly flawed decision that legalized abortion across the nation in 1972. Roe v. Wade is not bad law because it legalized infanticide, it is bad law because it found a non-existent right to privacy in the Constitution and federalized a state’s right; further, it violated America’s first right enshrined in the Declaration of Independence: life. Abortion advocates are complaining that overturning Roe v. Wade will be the end of democracy when, in fact, it will give the abortion decision back to the states which are much closer to the people and their elected representatives—the very definition of democracy! It is also ironic that the left has suddenly realized what a woman is. The next Supreme Court justice was asked what a woman is, and she was unable to answer because she is not a biologist; now apparently, all abortion advocates are biologists because they all seem to understand that a woman is a person who has the natural ability to conceive and bear children. Every human is made in the image of God and therefore possesses infinite dignity, worth, and value. This is why human life must be protected at all stages and at all costs. The fight for life is far from over: pro-life advocates had been fighting in one Supreme Court; now the fight continues in 50 state courts. Brace yourselves—Satan, demons, and all life-haters are apoplectic–it’s gonna be a bumpy ride!
