God’s Grace with Gary 1/28/22

Hello, this is pastor gary from first baptist church of laplata. I was at the March for Life in Washington, DC, last Friday. It was cold, and it was crowded. I could have done without the cold, but I am glad the crowds were there. People have been gathering annually in Washington, DC, to march for life since 1974, the year following the heinous Supreme Court decision known as Roe v. Wade. Roe v. Wade is morally and legally flawed and has permitted the murder of 62,000,000 American babies, each one made in the very image of God and precious. Overall, the crowd was young, but I marched with elderly folks using canes and walkers to make their point. This year’s atmosphere was extremely hopeful with the very real possibility that the Supreme Court will overturn Roe v. Wade. While every godly American should welcome that, the abortion fight does not end with that. If the Roe v. Wade legal fallacy is vacated, abortion rights will be decided in each individual state. Pro-lifers will no longer be fighting one big enemy in Washington, DC, we will be fighting 51 smaller enemies that are just as vicious. The march may be over, but the mandate continues: we must protect life at all stages and at all costs.
