resident Biden called a legitimate reporter with a legitimate question an illegitimate name. Realizing later that his remarks were heard, President Biden personally called the reporter to apologize saying, “It’s nothing personal, Pal.” That was nice of the President to call the reporter and apologize, but I wonder if the President called the reporter’s mother, since the name Joe Biden called the reporter specifically referenced the reporter’s mother. The President needs to learn the old adage, “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all.” Better yet, the President, who claims to be a Christian, should heed the Apostle Paul’s admonition in Ephesians 4:29, “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth but that which is good to the use of edifying that it may minister grace unto the hearers.” The word “corrupt” literally means “rotten.” The words that came out of President Biden’s mouth were both rotten and insulting to the reporter and to the reporter’s mother. President Biden’s words were neither edifying nor gracious. May the same never be said of us!
