Hello, this is pastor gary from first baptist church of laplata. Most of you are familiar with Jesus’ words to Nicodemus that people must be born again in order to see the Kingdom of God. This confused Nicodemus, and it continues to confuse unbelievers today. To be born again means to have a physical birth as well as a spiritual birth. I read a story last week about an unborn baby that was determined to have a medical issue, so doctors decided to birth the baby by Cesarean section, perform the necessary operation, then replace the baby inside the mother’s womb for a subsequent birth at the end of the gestation period. Wow! First of all, that is just amazing. Second, why would doctors do this for a valueless clump of cells? After all, the pro-abortion crowd claims that an unborn baby is just that: a worthless, meaningless, lifeless parasitic growth inside a woman. They say it’s not a child, it’s a choice; how can doctors perform surgery on a choice? Because the abortion crowd is not born again, they cannot understand the things of God which include the principle that human life is made in the image of God and is therefore precious. Anyway, when this baby who has the very biblical name Levi James is born again physically, he will still have to be born again spiritually; in Levi James’ case, he will have to be born again again.
